Terms of Service
Last updated July 10, 2026
By using MowRate you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. MowRate is operated by an independent developer; contact mowrate@gmail.com for anything not covered here.
What MowRate is (and isn't)
MowRate is an operator-only tool for tracking how long a lawn care job takes and comparing what you charged to a target $/man-hour. It is not an invoicing product, an estimating product, a customer-facing quoting tool, or a scheduling platform. The "base price" MowRate shows is an internal reference (target × crew × hours) to help you understand your own pricing — it is not an estimate or quote meant to be sent to a customer.
Your account
You need an account to use MowRate. You're responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. One account per person. Don't share credentials.
Subscription and payment
- Plans: $5/month or $50/year, in US dollars.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
- You can cancel anytime from Settings → Manage billing (or from the Stripe receipt email). Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access through the end of the period you've already paid for.
- Prices and features may change. If we change pricing for your plan, we'll notify you before it takes effect at your next renewal.
Refunds
Monthly plans are not refunded — cancel and you keep access through the end of the current month.
For annual plans, if you cancel within 14 days of your initial purchase and email mowrate@gmail.com, we'll refund the annual charge. After 14 days, annual plans are non-refundable but access continues until the end of your paid year.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Resell, sublicense, or provide MowRate as a service to third parties.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract source code or the underlying database.
- Attempt to bypass authentication, subscription checks, or usage controls.
- Use MowRate to store data you're not permitted to hold, or in a way that violates any law that applies to you.
We may suspend or close accounts that abuse the service or that have overdue payments.
Accuracy of numbers
MowRate's outputs — elapsed time, base price, $/man-hour, over/under/on verdicts — are calculated from what you enter. It is a calculator and history log, not a guarantee of profitability, revenue, or a specific business outcome. Very short jobs (under a minute of tracked time) can produce unreliable numbers and are flagged in the app.
Availability
We aim to keep MowRate running reliably, but the service is provided as-is with no uptime guarantee. Planned maintenance, third-party outages (for example Stripe or hosting), or connectivity issues can cause temporary interruptions.
Your data
You own the job data you enter. How we handle it is described in our Privacy Policy. You can delete individual jobs, clear all history from Settings, or email us to have your account fully removed.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
MowRate is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MowRate's total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid MowRate in the 12 months before the claim. MowRate is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost business opportunities.
Termination
You can stop using MowRate and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that have unpaid balances. If we terminate for cause, no refund is owed.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted here, and the "Last updated" date will reflect the revision. Continuing to use MowRate after a change means you accept the updated terms.
